REGISTER TO VOTE IN YOUR HOME STATE

ATTENTION STUDENTS!

Please remember that voter registration deadlines
are just weeks away for many states.

You need to not only make sure you are registered, but that your friends and family are also registered, no matter where they live (or also go to school). If you think you are already registered, you should confirm that all information (like your address) is correct.

This is especially important in the 18 battleground states in this election, where every single vote is so very crucial. Those states are: Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Virginia.

If you are from one of these states, or know anyone at all in them, try to add as many voter registrations as you possibly can, starting with yours!

All of this can be done at the campaign built website

ABSENTEE BALLOT INFORMATION

After you confirm you are registered in your home state, next you will need to find out how and when to submit your absentee ballot. This varies state to state, so be sure to check and doublecheck the rules for yours.

CAN I VOTE WHERE I GO TO SCHOOL?

There is often concern about where college students can register to vote. These laws differ in each state, and there is a 50-state guide to these rules at www.brennancenter.org/studentvoting
